The Wide Body Alfa That Never Made It to the Street

Alfa Romeo never gave the world a wide-body street car, only race cars got the treatment. Ampia brings that aggressive, low-slung stance to the road. Not for show. For soul. Because it’s not just about how a car drives. It’s about how it feels before you even start the engine.

FAQ

Questions, answered for the Ampia Driver.

We understand that building a bespoke machine comes with questions. Here’s everything you need to know about starting an Ampia build. From donor requirements to timelines, shipping, customization, and what makes our process different.
Do I need to own an Alfa Romeo to start a build?

Not at all. We can work with your existing vehicle or source a donor car that fits the spec. Either way, every Ampia™ build is tailored from the ground up.

Can I customize the performance and design?

Absolutely. From wide-body options to horsepower tuning, suspension setups, paint, interior finishes, and even parts selection.

How long does a full build take?

It depends on the scope. A typical Ampia™ build can take anywhere from 6 to 12+ months — every detail is handcrafted and nothing is rushed.

Do you ship Internationally?

Yes, we’ve worked with clients across North America and beyond. Shipping arrangements and import requirements vary by country — we’ll walk you through the process.

Is this a restomod or a full restoration?

Neither. Ampia builds are rebirths — not restorations, not cookie-cutter restomods. We retain the Alfa DNA but reimagine it with modern craftsmanship and a purist’s touch.

What kind of support do I get?

Think of it as a partnership. We document the journey from the first weld to the final test drive, keeping you involved with regular updates, build insights, and direct access to the Ampia team. Your car is treated like a personal project — not an order number.
